Korea – 24 Dec 2010 – Nami Island and Everland

We were to reach Seoul in the early morning…. round about 6 to 7am in the morning… and the temperature outside was a freezing -11 Degrees Celcius!!!! Later, we found out that the temperature had dropped to 18 below zero!

Trust me.. it was really cold…. and we were glad to have a fire…. more importantly… we now understood why fire is so important as a source for heat…
Cold!

We had all underestimated the temperature… You can see here that the kids really were not enjoying the cold. They were really freezing, and it wasn’t fun.

We were visiting Nami Island where one of the famous Korean dramas were shot. I had totally no appreciation for it, as I didn’t follow Korean Dramas….

But it was here that the kids first saw some snow and ice….

Apparently, this was the scene of some romantic Korean love drama…

Then, it was on to Everland!
Everland

Apart from the cold, it was a bit of a let down…. the characters and theme/story were a little sub-standard in my opinion, but…. still fun la…
