Oris Artelier Skeleton

Contrary to the notion that I’m so busy and have no life, I do still try and keep a spectre of balance. 🙂 and…. true to my goal of learning new things every 6 to 12 months or so, I’ve started on the subject of watches.

And so… I bought my very first Swiss Mechanical/Automatic watch! Don’t know why it took me so long, but better late than never. 🙂 Here it is, and its a Skeleton no less. 🙂 Such a beautiful watch, and quite mesmerizing when you look at the moving gears.

Theres so much to learn, and this is just the first step. I’m fascinated y the engineering and how one can cram so much into so little space. Heres another close up. I’m sure that I will be looking into a tourbillon soon enough. One hurdle in the way though….. its really disgustingly expensive! Blah!

Whats a Tourbillon? Well… take a look at this one below. this is a triple axis Tourbillon. 😀
