Updates to the Balcony

Its been 4 months since we moved into our new house in Hougang, and the Balcony has also undergone a little transformation.

Heres how it looked like in May.

Today, the Roses, Geberas are gone…. not sure how to care for them. My frangipani has stopped blooming, but I’ve added in a mango tree, and the garden looks a little more lush…

There are also a few more additions to the balcony. 🙂 I’ve added 2 flower boxes of Cherry Tomatoes and another 3 (2 foot) boxes of Cuphea hyssopifolia…. simply beautiful! 🙂

The tomatoes have been growing for a little over 2 months now, and some have begun flowering! 🙂 I’m eagerly waiting for tomatoes!

Diagonal view of the flower pots… the balcony gets full sunlight from 7am in the morning all the way through 1pm, and the balcony is very very bright. Very good for sun loving plants. 🙂

Just some close ups of the Cuphea…

Not only do they come in purple, they also come in white!

Not to forget my mango…. its fruiting, and we’re looking forward to eating this one!
