A lot has happened since my last post. Since getting back to Singapore, my iMac crashed, and took with it all of my data. The diagnosis…a faulty Superdrive and Harddisk, both of which were replaced, and if I did not have Apple Care, the resulting amount I would have to pay would have been S$1200.
In any case, I’ve been picking up the pieces, and have slowly piece-ed back my online life. 😦 My iMac is back with me albeit with a new Superdrive and Hard drive. I have also learnt my lesson, and bought a new 250GB backup drive, just in case. While I lost some of the photographs for the last two months, thankfully, I did not lose my Genting Highlands photographs.
Another thing is that I have since migrated to an ibook in the office. I am now running completely on Mac OS! Thats a first for me.
I’m getting a little apathetic over the last couple of weeks. I think it’ll continue for a few more weeks. In the mean time, I’m getting some distraction form a book I’m currently reading about the FBI’s Hostage Rescue Team (HRT) Oh well… there are phases in life!
